Serving on Federal Advisory Boards and Commissions

May 14, 2021

During this session, our panel will introduce Federal Advisory Boards and Commissions - what they are, benefits to serving on them, and how to be appointed. Advisory Boards are a great way to engage in national security public service even if you do not have a government position. We will cover both presidentially-appointed boards and commissions as well as "FACAs" (commissions established under the Federal Advisory Commission Act).
